Make direct charges to saved payment methods. Ideal for recurring charges or one-click payments.

POST /v1/charges

Create charge

Charges a saved payment method.

Parameters

Parameter Type Required Description
amount number Yes Amount in decimals (e.g. 100.00 = $100.00)
currency string Yes ISO currency code
payment_method string Conditional* ID of the saved payment method
token string Conditional* Card token generated with recaudo.js (tok_xxx for Conekta, pm_xxx for Stripe)
card object No Card info from recaudo.js: { brand, last4, exp_month, exp_year }. Recommended for better tracking
customer string Conditional* Customer ID (required if using payment_method)
description string No Charge description
